It’s back. Yes, damn cancer found its way back into my life, this time affecting my Mom’s lungs. On August 28, 2012, I got the dreaded text from my sister Jenni that my Mom’s test results came back as Stage IV lung cancer.
I’m adding her journey to my blog for a number of reasons: to show & tell her journey, to give hope & inspiration to others, and to give myself an outlet to somehow deal with “it” again.
My Mom is the strongest, bravest, and most loving woman I know. She is also surrounded by three daughters who will do anything in our power to make sure she has the best quality of life during this bout with her disease.
