Back the F Off
I can’t remember the last time I blogged - been way too long! Today, however, I’m going to take time out from my day job to write about a very very very serious epidemic plaguing Meeshie’s World - PERSONAL SPACE. Not sure what’s been going on lately, but personal space seems to be getting smaller and smaller all around me. The WORST place this occurs is in Starbucks. All of us know how LONG the lines get around 8am in Starbucks around the nation. Guys walking in with hairs
I fart on feminism!
So I haven’t blogged in a while…between trying to work full time, raise a kid, do volunteer work on the side, collaborating on a new start-up company, working on my relationship (or lack of one), and pretending to train a few times a week to run half marathons every two months - I’ve just been a tad busy. Wait, forgot: and trying to have a some-what social life. But in all of my running around, I’ve come to despise my energetic go-getter enthusiasm and just want to be a st
My Peeps CAN'T DRIVE!
OK, I know that I will get a lot of “crap” for this blog…but I’m prepared. I do not understand why Asian people just CANNOT drive to save their lives!!! Seriously!!! Asians are sometimes the strangest ethnic group of people. Yes, we are super duper awesome at math. Heck, by age 5 I knew my multiplication tables from 1 through 12 and could spit out the answer before my dad could finish saying, “What’s 12 times 11?” "one-tirty-too!" (lil’ meeshie giggles) Wait, there was
Relationships come with Risk
There are all sorts of “Relationships” - famiily, friends, significant other, co-workers, and even with your pets. You even have a “relationship” (although a negative one) with that biatch you can’t stand or that guy you think is a total douche bag. As me and three other friends sat around a bar table toasting to our friendship, we pondered out loud about how to cope and move on from a relationship. I’ve always found the dynamics between two lovers fascinating. There are
Hookas, why do we insist on being "clothes and shoes" whores?
I’ve been SLOWLY unpacking my big black trash bags of clothes and shoes. I like to think of myself as someone who can easily let old clothes and shoes go…but as I garbage bag-dived to figure out what the hell was in them, I realized that I have some items from back in da day when I thought that a full jean outfit was HOT! Now that I’m a “mommy” some of my…ok..wait..MOST of my clothes seem too all of a sudden be too “young” or “inappropriate” to wear. ALL of my bikinis are
7 Days of CHAOS
Haven’t been able to write my daily blog because I’ve been moving last minute!!! Imagine how I felt when I got a call last Thursday from my current apartment complex: La Mirage asking when they could do my move out walk through. I thought I was moving out on 6/25, however, they said that was impossible because they rented out my place and the new tenants take move in on the 26th. I scrambled to see if I could move into my new place a week early…meaning that Sunday…Father’s

Lucy the Lump: Update #5
OK Peeps! Many of you have asked for pics of the “New Do”…so, I’ve decided to send out an updated email with pics of my HEAD…LOL…I look like a freakin’ Ostrich!!! (or a cute little baby chick…asian baby chick – Heehee). These were taken on Tuesday at work. I finally couldn’t take it anymore and last Friday had my mom use the clippers. I can’t shave it because my scalp is sensitive – so they tell us to just clipper it and let the rest of the hairs just fall out when they

Lucy the Lump: Update #2
OK Peeps! I did it! And so did Jenni – my little sister who had one length long hair down to her waist! “Thanks” to Megs, Alisha, and little Emma Jane who sat with us for 4 ½ hours last night drinking wine and eating pizza while we got our “hair did”! And SUPER THANKS to Mom who cut our hair and put in the funky colors!!! Hope you all like the pics (mind you these were taken at 10pm last night!!! :) Hugs n’ Kisses, -Meeshie :) ————————————————————————————————————————— Hi Pee
